Candles & Wax Melts
Candles and scent play a big part in all my rituals, if I don't have much time I can light a candle with intention and allow the scent to ground me into that intention. Use white or silver candles for purity and lunar energy, blue candles for calmness and intuition. Check out my New Moon Wax Melts here.
Crystals
Whenever I'm setting intentions or creating rituals or spells, you can guarantee there's a crystal (or two) involved! My go to for a New Moon is Moonstone for enhancing intuition and insight. If you want more crystals for the New Moon, click here.
Incense
Incense is great for helping you to cleanse the area or the room you'll be working in. I always let one of these White Sage Incense sticks burn in my room before I begin any kind of ritual. These ones are some of my favourites!
Altar Cloths
I love to have an area to hold my rituals, but often that's just not possible. So for the days when I just need to set up in the middle of the floor, I love my Altar Cloth. It creates this perfect little container for me to put all of my ritual goodies! You could also keep it on a permanent altar too.
Journals
Keeping a journal is a non-negotiable in my practices. It can support you in so many different ways. It's a way to keep notes about all the practices and spells that work for you, your own favourite things to work with as well as discover more about yourself through inner inquiry. That's why I created my own journal, you can get one here.
Oracle Cards
I draw an oracle card at each ritual to give me guidance as to the energy I'm facing in the moon cycle ahead. It can help to show you where you need to focus or give you guidance on where you need to heal. I often use the Moonology Deck by Yasmine Boland.
Your Birth Chart
Having your birth chart under the New Moon can give you even more insight into the area of like that the New Moon is activating for you. If you're new to astrology or want some help with this one I've got readings available!
Until next time, keep unleashing your magic
